The base of the arm is a plastic diamond plate that connects to the holes found on the side of the Laptop Tray (RAM-234-3). At the top of the arm is a "n" shaped hook that sits over the top of your laptop screen. The arm that connects the two ends is a semi-stiff plastic coated flexible arm.
